An afternoon in Monaco

Returning Home....

The day after, we returned to Monaco.

From Mónaco

After the lunch at Cafe de Paris, we went for a stroll in the surroundings.

We went by these beautiful stairs....

From Mónaco

to the harbour...

From Mónaco

to enjoy the gorgeous view of the Mediterranean Sea...

From Mónaco

see the boats...

(No, it wasn't Love Boat...;-)

From Mónaco

(Yes, I became "in love" for this one...;-)

From Mónaco

and, finally, the luxuriant gardens ...

From Mónaco

I had a glimpse of Lisbon...;-)

From Mónaco

and then, again on the road, one more tunnel ...;-) to our next destination...

  1. I enjoyed your afternoon in Monaco :-) Especially since it's grey and rainy here in England. What did you eat at Cafe de Paris, please?

  4. Dear Japra,

I regret I didn't take a picture because it was such a beautiful and delicious salade!! It was a daily special. It isn't in their site menu kaart. It was with cheese, figs (I love it!) and vegetables.

  11. Oh la la, you are at our most favourite spot: the Cote d'Azur. When I close my eyes I can recall clearly the view we had from the house where we stayed several times overlooking the Bay of St Tropez. We used to say to our dog: Tu est le chien le plus sage de St Tropez. Any place along the coast is so marvellous.
Thank you for joining my blog! On return I am your number 80 and I am intrigued by the long list of Dutch events you have listed. So, I will be reading a while ;-)).
    Have a wonderful day!

PS Make sure that you go back to my blog as the link to the museum is now working. Also, Sypesteyn holds a nice autumn programme if it is not too far away from you!
