Presepio in DutchNews.nl

Do you know DutchNews.nl? It's a very important online newspaper where you can find Dutch news in English.



They have a very useful page, "Local Information for Expats", about the services and local blogs of the main Dutch cities.

I'm very glad to share with you that Presepio is now in the Almere's Local Information Page.

Last Saturday, I went for a stroll in the street that inspired the name of this blog: "Presepio com Vista para o Canal"/ "Crib with Canal View"/"Kerststal met uitzicht op de gracht".

I lived here, in Almere Centrum, since December 2007 until November 2009.

This canal is situated between the Weerwater Lake, the Theater...

What I remember the most? ;-)

I remember to listen the church's carillon in the weekend. So nice! ;-)
I remember the beautiful Springs of 2008 and 2009 and watch the boats crossing the canal...
I remember the swans and the ducks...
I remember going for a stroll with my cat...
I remember to sit down in the balcony enjoying the evenings...
I remember the first full moon...
I remember the living room's 6m2 window...
It was here, in this canal, I began to discover the Netherlands...the postcards, the flowers, the kibbeling,...:-)
Nice memories of a place nearby the centrum and its exquisite buildings.

However, on March 2009, I knew I should move.
On November, 1, 2009, the removals to Tussen de Vaarten began.
The most important of all? I was happy there as I'm happy here. Each one of these houses has its own charme.
