Returning Home...
Cannes
My first sight after parking the car nearby the beach: many, many boats and a historical building behind...
Looking at the beach, I saw Les Pyrenees... ;-)
You know how I love the mountains and the sea...these kind of beaches are my favorite ones. :-)
After a delicious French breakfast and a wonderful stroll in Grasse, I was ready to spend the afternoon in the beach.
I felt the gentle touch of the sun in my skin...What a gift! The day was shiny and pleasant! Just Perfect!
I smiled. ;-) and I sat down on the sand looking at the sea...
These photos were taken when we were leaving...
We stayed in the beach so many hours :-))...I went to the water a lot of times...I had heard a lot of Italian... ;-) Italy is nearby...
I smiled again :-) Portuguese, Italian and French...I was missing this latin sfeer...the friendly and easy way how we, ladies from different latin countries, begin to speak with each other...so nice ;-) Many smiles, a lot of smiles...
We ate some delicious baguettes and then, with pitty, we left...not before stopping by for a walk in the Promenade de la Croisette...
I love boats, you know that already...
We decided not to return to Grasse and have a shower, but go straight away to Monaco by the seaside...;-))
Look how beautiful it was...
Cap d'Antibes
Nice
VilleFranche-sur-Mer (where we stopped to dinner)
Monaco
Here I remembered Grace Kelly and the movie To Catch a Thief...
After driving in several tunnels, two of them with roundabouts (I never saw such a thing in my life), we arrived to Monte Carlo Casino...
Beautiful, isn't it?
Monaco is glamorous...very cinematographique...don't you think?

Margarida ;-) Obrigada!!! I wish, I wish...:-)) Ainda tenho que aprender muito....Mas ficaram boazinhas, nao ficaram? Tendo em conta que foram tiradas com o carro em pleno andamento (excepto Cannes, Monaco e a de Villefranche)... Va la, menos mal, estava com receio...
Japra: Merci!! I read your posts about French Riviera just this month, do you believe it?? April was such a busy month to me...I will take them in consideration when I come back to Cote D' Azur with more time.
;-) That's for sure!
Oh, La France!!! ;-)

Dear Anita, :D yes, it is...la joie de vivre ;-))
Nao cheguei a visitar Nice. Mais um motivo para la voltar. Se quiser recomendar alguma coisa por la (dormidas, comidinha ou algo mais pitoresco e so dizer).
Beijinhos
PS: curiosa a historia do gato ;-))
Ahhhhhh the life of the rich and famous... how glamorous, my dear! :D
You can't help thinking of Grace Kelly and in fact, the Hollywood Golden Age when you see photos of these beautiful places!
I loved all your shots, especially that one with the line of chairs against the sky and the one of the sunset! Gorgeous!!
Aledys...
