Snow, Snow and Snow

Today it didn't stop snowing all day!

I've had my umbrella, but nevertheless, it was too intense and it was difficult to walk!

From Natal 2010

I wait and wait for the bus and nothing! No buses to the city center.

Look how it was nearby the bus stop...beautiful ;-) but intense :-)

I came back home.

Look at the backyard at 4 pm...

From Natal 2010

My arms are aching! Before it became too dark, I cleared the path between the living room's door and the backyard's door, as well as the path in the frontyard, between the front door and the sidewalk.

After clearing the paths, I began to uncovering the car. My neighbour Robin was doing the same as me. He began to talk to me in Dutch and I took the chance to practice a bit more this difficult language. Nice talk! He was in Lisbon, Sintra and Obidos and showed me a photo of this medieval Portuguese town :-)

After a while, I went home. It was so cold. I took off the wet clothes and I drank a cup of soup.

Foi realmente um nevão impressionante, aqui por Woerden também está tudo branquinho. Queria aproveitar para dar os parabéns por este belíssimo blog que sigo já há algum tempo.

Lindo...lindo, tudo branco. Adoro neve, talvez porque em Portugal é mais rara. Só no Norte e na Serra da Estrela é que se vislumbra este manto magnífico!
As fotos estão fantásticas. É pena os flocos não serem estrelas como aparecem nos desenhos!
Beijinho e Bom Natal!

Anita, you are not silly! :-) You are a cheerful soul! Lucky us, your friends ;-) Mille Bisous, cherie! :-)

Olá, Sandrinha!
Beautiful photos, they certainly show how cold it was! It snowed heavily there in Almere, apparently! Not so much here in the east, but the temperatures were lower (farther away from the effect of he sea, I suppose!)
Looking at that shot of your backyard I thought it would've been fun to make two snowdolls sitting in the chairs.... the neighbours might have got a fright, thinking that you had frozen out there while sipping tea in the snowstorm hahaha :D
Stay warm, my friend!
